In sitting with the Master John Henrik Clarke, he stated brilliantly, as a Pan-Africanist, we must never forget the trajectory begot in the 1400’s and the beginnings of financial capitalism. And the great epigram the end resides in the beginning has been proven by the human globe grid, augmented by the human relationship problems we must resolve wisely within our species and with nature. What is the new in the present future for us libertines and spiritual travelers?
There is one notable thing about our Christianity: bad, bloody, merciless, money-grabbing, and predatory. The invention of hell measured by our Christianity of today, bad as it is, hypocritical as it is, empty and hollow as it is, neither the deity nor his son is a Christian, nor qualified for that moderately high place. Ours is a terrible religion. The fleets of the world could swim in spacious comfort in the innocent blood it has spilled. Mark Twain – Secret Memories published July 2010

1421 China Turns Inward…
The Ming Dynasty’s preoccupation with aggressive nomad tribes along its northern frontiers forcefully shifted China’s imperial strategy away from maritime interests. It was already trading with the African nations on the Indian Ocean side. China withdrew from the world at large just as unbounded enthusiasm began pushing Europe toward a new era of discovery around the world.
1452 Pope Nicholas directed King Alfonso to “capture, vanquish, and subdue the saracens, pagans, and other enemies of Christ,” to “put them into perpetual slavery,” and “to take all their possessions and property.” Slave market of Lisbon begins to thrive.
1491 The evolutionary baby becomes king of the globe…
•In 1491 there were probably more people living in the Americas than in Europe.
•The earliest cities in the Western Hemisphere were thriving before the Egyptians built the great pyramids.
•Pre-Columbian Indians in Mexico developed corn by a breeding process so sophisticated that the journal Science recently described it as “man’s first, and perhaps the greatest, feat of genetic engineering.”
•Amazonian Indians learned how to farm the rain forest without destroying it–a process scientists are studying today in the hope of regaining this lost knowledge.
•Native Americans transformed their land so completely that Europeans arrived in a hemisphere already massively “landscaped” by human beings. – Charles Mann
May 3rd 1493 In the Inter Cetera document, Pope Alexander stated his desire that the “discovered” people be “subjugated and brought to the faith itself.” By this means, said the pope, the “Christian Empire” would be propagated.
1500 to 1951 The 1500’s is considered the benchmark for what we know as modern capitalism. The English Parliament also passed an Act legalizing the purchase of slaves in 1545. In 1823, the Christian Doctrine of Discovery was quietly adopted into U.S. law by the Supreme Court in the celebrated case, Johnson v. McIntosh. Writing for a unanimous court, Chief Justice John Marshall observed that Christian European nations had assumed “ultimate dominion” over the lands of America during the Age of Discovery, and that – upon “discovery” – the Indians had lost “their rights to complete sovereignty, as independent nations,” and only retained a right of “occupancy” in their lands The Legacy of Fifteenth Century Religious Prejudice
Egypt gains independence in 1951, and all nations followed on the continent, with South Africa finally in 1994. Now in the 21st Century, China has returned as an economic power to Africa and the Asian region, and we (humans) are colonizing space. Some say we now have a bi-polar world; I don’t agree. There is nowhere to go but to look at what we have become on this globe, and what we need to become.
