Is He Jeremiah?
Well I lived to see my first Black President at 58, with some sorrow that our Nation seems to be collapsing. Yet it is not the first time that some one of African descent has helped Nations in hard times. Now serious work is in front of us, and even if we collapse POTUS B. H. Obama may be the Jeremiah (Book of Lamentations ) of a falling Empire.
And this great Lady lived to see it, here and South Africa 
Form Shapes Circumstances
Told me when I was a kid,
there was no black quarterback
Then they told me,
there was no Astronaut
We couldn’t think like white men
these poor working class kids teasing.
Now fighting fictional terrorist,
we have one on 24 hours
Who won a global award!
Now we may have a real one
Hope he ain’t got to face
the fictional crisis, for true.
But
If he does may he be as cool as
Doug on the ten yard line!!
